3rd Llandudno Junction Cubs - News
Welcome to our first news letter of the year and let me give you an insight to what the Cubs have been up and going to be up to on a Friday evening before I give you the all important forthcoming dates.
January has seen the Cubs continue with their communicator badge
They have managed to use codes and ciphers and last week they managed to learn the semaphore alphabet. They sent their names and a simple message via a lot of flag waving.

Tonight has, hopefully, seen successful Australia Day celebrations evening , with all things Australian.

Next week in addition to the normal programme we are having a HATS FOR HAITI NIGHT,
This will involve the Cubs wearing a hat, for a charge of £1 , with all the money raised going towards the Haiti earthquake disaster fund.
Hats need to be as unusual as possible or home made. If you cannot do this then any hat will do.(Shere Khan has a supply of hats that you can decorate or alter.

To Close
Due to our ever expanding Scout group we are moving our older Cubs up into Scouts and we are struggling to spread ourselves across the two sections.
Would you or do you know anyone wishing to help Nathan in Scouts.
If you do come along from 7:30pm on a Friday and see what goes on .... you will be very surprised, see Shere Khan for more information.
