Latest NewsScouts out for a cycle!!!!!! (June 25, 2010)
Tonights troop night saw the Scouts set off for a gentle bike ride. Mmmmmm ,I hear the Scouts cry as they read this....HILLS!!! how many ?
We set off from HQ, and headed towards Conwy, twelve Scouts and five leaders on a lovely sunny evening.
Headed to the castle and into Gyffin and along the up too the sychnant pass.
Phew that was a tall order in itself!!
Then off road ..... Thats why we had been told it was for mountain bikes....up and along and up and up and up the mountain we cycled....oh and walked and pushed!!!
Oh yes its downhill .......then back up and up until finally we went all the way down.
OfF Conwy mountain and into the Morfa and along the marine Drive until we reached the quay.
Then along the cob back to HQ.
CONGRATULATIONS to all the Scouts who took part , it was an enjoyable evening....at least it didnt rain
