As the 21st Winter Olympic games are about to open in Vancouver, Canada the Cubs had their own mini Olympics
We had three countries Finland . Sweden and Russia the last three medalists in the 2006 Ice Hockey finals
Shere Khan opened up with his now notorious art work , the Map of Canada this time coloured in to represent the Flag.
Followed by the brief history of the games , who held them and what sports are included in the games. Next came the winter Olympic quiz.
During the evening the Cubs had a shoot the puck into an Ice Hockey net game, (the puck a bean bag, the goal was a goal and the ice ??? well we had to imagine it.
Creative part to the eveing was the making of their own personal scaled down version ot the Olympic torch.
Which then led into the final game of the evening which was Slalom Torch relay , running through cones in teams carrying larger torches..

Gold Medal winners ..........Finland
Silver Medal winners........Sweden
Bronze Medal winners.......Russia
