Latest NewsHats For Haiti Night (February 05, 2010)
As an additional feature of this weeks programme we added in a Fund raiser for the victims of the Earthquake disaster in Haiti.
Each Cub had been invited to wear a Hat for the cost of £1. The hats could be a normsl hat but the more invented the better. They could decorate a hat or better still make a hat.
We had aome great designs as you can see from the photographs.
From a bobble hat minus a bobble replaced by a peacock feather, to a specially made tractor hat and a Liverpool hat with a difference.
We celebrated the most creative hat with a certificate.
We had a hard choice but had to make it , the most creative was The special Haiti hat by Cameron followed closely by George`s Tractor Hat.
Scouts too were asked to wear a hat and the most famboyant hat was won by Elin.
A total of £35 was raised, well done all - especially with little notice.
