September saw our annual camp at Rowen...
This years theme was
In Search of the Cub Scout Holy Grail..
So how did we get on why not enter CubAlot and see......
The Cubs divided into five teams.
Lancelot, Galahad, Gwain, Percival and Tristan
The leaders introduce as characters from Arthurain Legand...
Akela - Merlin
Baloo - Nimuve,Lady of the Lake
Linda - Queen Guenivere
Nikki - Morgarna
Shere Khan - (the evil) Prince Mordred
Rama - King Arthur - Pendragon
Daniel - King Uther - Pendragon
Points award fo each team were compiled by our score master Queen Guenivere
Tasks and activities included The Save your Knights game (which was very wet - ask the Lady of the Lake if you don`t belive me) , the Jousting Relay , Castle hunt , Hidden coat of arms and Castle (bivvy) building
The Camp fire , even though a little rain fell , was a big sucess as ever with Merlin leading the singing. Mashmallows followed which the attending Scouts helped toast
At the Scouts own service we had the traditional hymns and badge awards and also gave out the Cub scout Holy Grail to the winning team..
