Latest NewsBeaver and Cub Beetle Drive (February 03, 2009)
Hello all, Tonight we held a joint event with Deganwy Beavers and Our Cubs.
We met at our Cub hall at 5:30pm and played Time bomb (after flag break) whilst some of the Beavers completed word searches.
Then the main activitey of the night - The Beetle Drive -
We had 8 tables, with four to a table -
The object was to( get a fully made beetle before anyone else.
Body parts gave you points and this determind if you moved forward a table or back a table.
It was very enjoyable (NOISY) and lasted till drink time.
Beavers did their closing ceremony and one Beaver was given his moving on award and next week will be coming along to Cubs (along with two other Beavers and a new Cub wno joined this week).
Thanks to ALL the leaders Lyn, Akela, Elsa, Karen, Shere Khan, Sam and to the parents who helped make the night fun Helen and Vikki.
